We've now enabled the customisation of email templates used for communication between labs and their associated organisations.
Key Functionality:
This update allows for tailoring various elements of emails sent to organisations for system-generated notifications.
The examples of key customisable areas are added below:
- Subject: Modify the email subject line.
- Header: Customise the top section of the email, with lab's logo or their header image.
- Greetings: Personalise the opening salutation.
- Main Body/Text: Edit the primary content (text), including any additional information to be fetched in the email.
- Additional Links/Buttons: Include supplementary links or call-to-action buttons.
- Signature: Customise the sender's signature.
- Contact Details: Modify the contact information provided.
- Footer: Adjust the information in the email footer.

Internal Process for Customisation Requests:
- Lab Initiates Request: Labs will communicate their specific organisation email template customisation requirements to the Support Team.
- Support Gathers Details: The Support Team will gather all necessary information about the desired changes for the customisable elements listed above.
- Jira Ticket Creation: The Support Team will create a detailed Jira ticket outlining the lab's requirements. This ticket should clearly specify which elements need to be customised and include any necessary assets (e.g., logos, specific text). Clearly mention the template that needs to be customised, and changes expected.
- Development Implementation: The Development Team will review the Jira ticket and implement the requested customisations to the email template.
Impact:
This enhancement allows for more tailored and branded communication with our partner organisations, improving their experience and our professional image.
Note: This functionality mirrors the existing email template customisation support available for patient communications, and the internal request process, involving the Support and Development teams via Jira, remains consistent.
