The Bulk Upload feature in AI-TRF Scan allows labs to upload documents for multiple patients at once. Instead of registering patients one by one, users can upload a batch of TRFs, and the system will automatically scan, detect, and prepare each file for review and order creation.

This is useful during peak hours or for central scanning teams, helping speed up registrations and reduce manual errors.

? What types of documents can be uploaded?

Each file is treated as one patient. Files may include:

  • TRFs (Test Requisition Forms)

  • Driving Licenses

  • Insurance Cards

(Currently, only one file per patient is supported in bulk mode.)

⚙️ How does it work?

  1. Go to the AI-TRF Scan module.

  2. Click “Upload for Multiple Patients” or access it via the Upload History section.

  3. Upload all relevant files (PDFs, JPGs, PNGs).

  4. Files are processed in the background. You’ll see them in the Pending Review tab once processed.

  5. Click into each file to review details, make corrections, and save to create the patient order.

?️ Upload Statuses Explained:

  • In Progress – File is still being scanned.

  • Pending Review – AI has scanned the file, ready for user verification.

  • Reviewed – File has been reviewed and order is completed.

  • Failed – Processing failed (due to unreadable file, incorrect format, etc.).

? Demo Video:

  • If a you do not see the bulk upload option, ensure it’s enabled in their registration settings.

  • Bulk upload does not support combining multiple files for a single patient yet (for that, use the single upload flow).

  • Ensure uploaded files are clearly named and not encrypted or scanned in poor quality.
