Overview:


The Bulk Upload feature in AI-TRF Scan lets you upload multiple patient documents (like TRFs, insurance cards, or ID proofs) all at once. This is perfect for labs that handle high volumes of patients or have scanning teams managing large document loads. Instead of uploading one patient at a time, you can now streamline your workflow by uploading documents in bulk, saving time and reducing manual work.

Where to Find It:

  1. Go to the AI-TRF Scan module in Registration

  2. On the top-right or in the main menu, click “Upload for Multiple Patients.”

  3. This will open the bulk upload screen.

How to Use It:

  1. Upload Documents

    • Drag and drop or select multiple files (PDFs, JPGs, PNGs) at once.

    • Each file is treated as one patient.

  2. Processing in the Background

    • The system automatically scans and processes the documents in the background.

    • You can continue with other tasks while processing completes.

  3. View & Review Documents

    • Processed files appear in the Pending Review tab in the AI-TRF Scan module.

    • Click each file to review the extracted patient data.

  4. Verify & Register Patients

    • Check that patient demographics, insurance info, and other fields are correct.

    • Make any necessary edits.

    • Save to create the patient record in the system.

Upload Statuses Explained:

  • In Progress – Document is still being scanned by AI.

  • Pending Review – AI has completed scanning and extraction, ready for user review.

  • Reviewed – You’ve confirmed and registered the patient.

  • Failed to Process – The document couldn’t be processed due to format or quality issues.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Use clear, high-quality scans of TRFs.

  • Name files in a way that’s easy to identify each patient if possible.

  • Each file should be one patient’s document.

Security:

  • All uploads are processed securely with HIPAA-compliant AI powered by Google’s Gemini model.

Additional Information:

  • Currently supports one file per patient in bulk upload.

  • For combining multiple documents per patient, use the single-patient upload option.

  • Bulk upload currently supports TRFs, insurance cards, and ID proofs.
