We’ve added a new enhancement that helps lab users directly fetch organisation’s card details from lab’s square account instead of adding credit card details every time.


Use Case: This enhancement eliminates the need to enter card information repeatedly if an organisation has recurring transactions with the lab. It is available for both kinds of payments, direct patient payments from billing and B2B invoice and advance payments of the organisation.


How to make payments?


Payment Experience: 

1. How to Make Payments:

  • Automatic Card Retrieval:
    • If the organisation’s card details are linked in Square, they will be automatically fetched.
    • For organisations with multiple linked cards, users can select the desired card during payment.
  • Manual Card Entry:
    • If card details are not linked, users can enter card information for the organisation during the payment process.

2. Payment Scenarios:

  • Direct Patient Payments: When payments are initiated from the Billing Modal with the source set as "Org Pay," the card details for the organisation will be fetched from Square.
  • B2B Payments: For all B2B transactions, such as invoices and advance payments, the organisation’s card details will be retrieved automatically.


How to store card details?

  1. During Payment: If card details are not linked, the user will have the option to link card details to the org while making the payment.
  2. Configure from Org Info: User can individually configure the card details for the respective organisation from the org info configuration.

Note:

  1. Linking card details is not supported for other payments sources like Self Pay, Insurance Pay, etc.
  2. This support is currently present for Square and not available for other payment gateways.
  3. It will not be possible for us to show stored card details because we do not store the card details in our database due to compliance reasons.
  4. This enhancement is not supported at Promotions & Store presently.
  5. Deletion/delinking of card details is not supported.
