With the latest feature release, accessioning staff can now view the Report Status of samples directly from the Accession module. This helps staff who don’t have access to the Operations module or CC logins to easily track the status of received samples without depending on others.

? How to Use This Feature:

  1. Access the Accession Module:
    Log in to the system and navigate to the Accession module.

  2. Open the Sample Info Modal:
    Select a sample from the list in the Accession module and open the Sample Info modal.

  3. Check Report Status:
    In the modal, you will see the Report Status for the selected sample.

    • The status could be Incomplete, Completed, Signed or Dispatched.

  4. No Additional Permissions Required:
    You don’t need access to the Operations module or CC logins to view the status.

? Example Use Case:

A collection center sends samples to the lab for processing, and the accessioning staff receives them. The staff wants to know the progress of the reports:

  • Before this feature: The accessioning staff had to ask operations personnel or CC logins had to call lab to check the report status, which caused delays and dependencies.
  • With this feature: The staff can simply open the Sample Info modal in the Accession module and view the report status immediately.
