The shared report provider feature helps manage and generate reports when tests are distributed across multiple providers, each handling different tests. Follow the steps below to use this feature effectively.
1. Registering a Patient
• Go to the Patient Registration page.
• Select the patient’s info, and choose a primary provider.
• Click Register to add the patient to the system.
2. Adding Tests to providers
• Once the patient is registered, on bill confirmation add shared providers
• Add the necessary tests for the patient under the primary provider.
• Confirm and save the test list.
3. Assigning Tests to Shared Providers
• You can now assign tests to shared providers.
• For each shared provider, assign the relevant tests they will handle.
• This allows different providers to manage different tests for the same patient.
4. Filling and Signing Reports
• Go to the Waiting List and fill out the reports for the tests.
• Once all reports are filled, click Sign All to approve and finalize them.
5. Reviewing Reports
• You can review the reports in two formats:
• Normal Report: Shows all tests with no breakdown by provider.
• By Shared Provider: Breaks down the tests based on each provider’s responsibility, displaying the specific tests assigned to each provider.
6. Sharing the Report with Providers
• To share the report with the providers, go to Overview and select Share Report to Provider.
• Choose the providers and the tests to share with them.
• If no single provider is the primary, all providers will be able to view their specific tests.
7. Handling Reports Without a Primary Provider
• If no primary provider is assigned and tests are split among multiple providers:
• Each provider will only see the tests assigned to them, regardless of whether they share any tests with other providers.
• This ensures clear distribution of responsibilities, with each provider receiving only their relevant tests.
Summary
The Shared Report Provider feature is especially useful when multiple providers are involved in a patient’s care, each handling different sets of tests. It ensures that the report is divided according to the tests assigned to each provider and allows easy sharing of these reports when needed.
This version keeps it neutral and universal, without using any specific terms like “self” or test names. It should work for any context involving multiple providers.
