Overview:

Report Ready Communication via WhatsApp, enables automatic report delivery to organisations/ referrals through WhatsApp. This capability is designed to improve the speed and efficiency of sharing reports, as many organisations/ referral doctors rely on WhatsApp to quickly relay patient information.


How to enable this?

For organisations/clients: Got to Organisation Management -> Organisation Details -> Enable the "Auto Report Ready WhatsApp" flag in Report Communication section.

For referrals/providers: Go to Referral Management -> Referral Details -> Enable the  "Send WhatsApp" flag in Communication section.

Make sure the Contact Number entered of the Organisation or Referral is a WhatsApp Number to make use of this capability.



What happens once this is enabled?

Once reports of that organisation's or the referral's patient are dispatched, along with an email, the organisation and/or referral will receive a WhatsApp message of the patient's reports. Each WhatsApp message includes key patient and report details along with a PDF attachment, allowing organisations/referrals to quickly review the reports of their patients.



Checklist to troubleshoot in case the communication is not going:

  • Check whether the contact number provided for the organisation or referral is a legit WhatsApp number.
  • Reports are supposed to be dispatched.
  • In case of organisations, they have to have the bill settled, to receive the report. Organisation cannot be in due.
  • In case of HIPAA password protected PDF, there has to be a passkey set. If the passkey is not set, communication won't go.
  • The lab should have enough WhatsApp credits.
