What is the Test Pick List?
The Test Pick List makes test selection faster and hassle-free. Instead of manually searching for tests, users can pick them from clearly displayed rectangular cards. This speeds up registration and ensures accuracy.
How to Set Up the Pick List
For Labs (Lab Pick List)
- Go to Settings > Registration Settings and open the Pick List tab.
- Click Create New Pick List and give it a name for easy identification.
- Browse available tests and add the required ones.
- Click Save to finalize.
For Organizations (Org Pick List)
- Go to Settings > Registration Settings and open the Pick List tab.
- Click Create New Pick List and give it a name for easy identification.
- Browse available tests and add the required ones.
- Assign the pick list to specific organizations – only users from the assigned organization can see and use it.
- Click Save to finalize.

How to Use the Pick List (Common for Labs & Organizations)
Step 1: Open the Pick List
- While registering a patient, go to the Test Selection Page.
- Click on the Pick List Tab, which appears next to the regular test selection.
Step 2: Select Tests
- The configured tests will appear as rectangular blocks.
- Click on the required tests to add them instantly.
Step 3: Review and Proceed
- Check the selected tests.
- Continue with the registration process.

- Faster & Smoother Registration – No need to type and search for each test manually. This saves time and ensures accuracy.
- Great for Frequent Test Orders – Perfect for commonly ordered tests like routine checkups or cardiac panels.
- Easy to Use – The block-based layout makes test selection simple, even for new users.
Additional Details
- Labs can only view their own Lab Pick List, while organizations can only see their assigned Org Pick List.
- Pick lists are synced with the search view:
- If a test is added from any pick list, it will also appear in the search view.
- If the same test exists in multiple pick lists, selecting it from one will highlight it in all relevant pick lists.
- Users can remove the test from either the search view or any pick list, and it will be deselected everywhere.
