Problem Statement:

Previously, while email domain white-labelling was supported for patient communication, emails sent from the lab to organisations did not utilize these custom sender details. This update extends the white-labelling functionality to cover all email communications, ensuring consistent branding across all outgoing emails.

New Functionality: Organisation Email White-labelling

With this update, if a lab has configured a custom email domain for white-labelling, those details will now be used for email communication sent to associated organisations. This means the "Sender Email" and "Reply to Email" specified in the white-labelling settings will be applied to these communications.

How it Works:

The system will now follow the same logic for lab-to-organisation emails as it currently does for patient emails when white-labelling is enabled.

  1. Fetching White-labelling Details: The system will retrieve the white-labelling configuration from the existing location: Admin → Account Overview → Communication → Customise EMAIL Domain → Setup.

  2. Applying Sender and Reply-to Information:

    • All emails sent to organisations will use the "Sender Email" configured in the "Customise Email Sender ID" settings as the sender's address.
    • The "Reply to Email" specified in the same settings will be used as the recipient for any replies to these emails.
  3. Fallback Mechanism: If the "Sender Email" and "Reply to Email" fields in the white-labelling settings are left empty, the system will default to sending emails from report@domain.abc with a no-reply enabled.

Impact on Workflow:

  • No changes are required to the process of composing and sending emails to organisations. The system will automatically apply the white-labelling details in the background if configured.
  • Organisations receiving emails from the lab will now see the white-labeled sender email address, enhancing brand recognition and trust.
  • Replies from organisations will be directed to the specified "Reply to Email" address.
