This feature improves control over Quality Control (QC) values coming from devices, by introducing a review workflow before data is plotted on LJ charts.

It helps lab teams ensure that only verified QC data is visualized and used for monitoring instrument performance.

Feature Overview

What Is It?

QC Result-wise Validation allows labs to:

  • Review each QC value before it reflects on the LJ chart

  • See a summary of QC results (Validated vs Pending) per device

  • Receive alerts when results are pending review

  • Set rules lab-wide or per-device for how QC data should flow

How It Works – End-to-End Flow

StepAction
1Device sends a QC result
2If review is enabled, result lands in the QC Tab (status: Pending Review)
3Reviewer can Release (approve) or Cancel (reject)
4Once Released, the result appears in the LJ Chart
5Until reviewed, the chart shows a warning banner: Some QC values are pending review. Please review them to reflect in the LJ chart.

Where Does It Show Up?

  • Waiting list->Device Grid View:
Shows summary counts for Validated and Pending QC results for each device.

  • Click on the device

  • “QC” Tab (next to "Next Results"):

    • Lists incoming QC values

    • Allows action per result (Release / Cancel)
